Within the last month, Influenster sent me a complimentary bottle of Ole Henriksen‘s new Glow2OH Dark Spot Toner for testing and review purposes. It was great timing because I had been thinking about adding toner to my skincare routine. Launched just before Christmas, the new toner was sent to me and I have been using it for the last month.

OLE HENRIKSEN GLOW2OH DARK SPOT TONER REVIEW
This toner was created to target dark spots, fine lines and wrinkles, dullness and uneven skin texture.
The main active ingredient in the product is high-potency AHA’s (alpha hydroxy acids such as glycolic and lactic). AHA’s are used in toners to reduce dark spots and chemically exfoliate the skin. While they don’t tell you the percentage of AHAs in the bottle, I have found the product gentle enough to use daily. I have combination skin with hormonal acne and noticed dark pigmentations on my face left by acne scars lightened after 2-3 weeks of daily use.
Although the product is created to target dark spots, my favorite benefit is the brightening and smoothing of the texture of my skin. I noticed this immediately after the first use. The chemical exfoliating properties of the AHAs work really well for uneven skin texture and witch hazel brightens. After applying and letting it dry, my skin is slightly moisturized and takes my gel moisturizer much better than before. The ingredients lemon, sugar cane, licorice root, chamomile, and sandalwood extracts calm the skin and provide an amazing fragrance.
After testing the product over the last month I am happy with the overall results and value. I would definitely consider purchases another bottle once mine is out.
The 6.5oz/190mL bottle retails at Sephora for $34.00CAD.
“At night, pour onto a cotton pad and swipe over clean, dry face in a circular motion. Follow with the OLEHENRIKSEN serum or moisturizer of your choice. For external use only. Use as directed. This product contains active ingredients; we suggest testing a small amount on forearm. Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product for a week afterward. Avoid eye area. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately.”

If you’re a blogger or social media influencer, this can be a great way to build connections with brands and get experience in promoting their products. Who doesn’t like free stuff right? If this is something you love and are successful at doing, you could start making money doing it in the future as well.
